Bulking no cardio?

Have any of you managed to keep your bf% under 10% during a clean bulking up phase by lifting only. I.e zero cardio or maybe just a little bike on the off days? Just curious how many have felt that diet is 100% of staying lean....do you reduce cals on off days? Reduce carbs? Skip pw shake only? Thanks...
 
yes, its possible to do without cardio. however, i need at least a couple of days of cardio in the off season to keep my appetite up. otherwise, i never want to eat anything.

I personally feel that diet is everything, a person can stay lean without ever hitting the gym by keeping a good clean diet
 
cardio creates more cellular mitochondria

yes you can do it, but why?? off season eating SHOULD be different from pre comp, otherwise you gonna get sick of rice and chicken lol.

also remember that resistance training does NOT create new cellular mitochondria, whereas cardio DOES. The mitochondria is like the engine or machinery of the cell. the more mitochondria you creat, the stronger your contractions will become.

interval training suits this well as it can be done in like 20-30mins, also this is a great oppotunity for a carb/pro shake post cardio also
 
Cardio is not to be abandoned. You get so many benefits from doing cardio. You can bulk up with two sessions a week. Will give you a huge apetite.

keep your weight workouts intense and keep your bulking calories clean.
 
I do cardio because it is good for my heart and it keeps my BP down and AAS screws with that for me. So i do it all the time, but I add more when cutting.

When bulking I do 20-30 minutes three times a week, and 40-50 minutes once a week. I will add a bit more when cutting - usually another day and some more time each day. But if I do too much, I hurt my knees (so I do ellipitcal, stairmaster, etc.)
 
Incline walk? That most of your cardio? It's my topic of choice...
