If the question is about how can cholesterol possibly be healthy...

1) Cholesterol is the strongest antioxidant in your body..period..it REPAIRS damage to your arteries...

2) It is the parent molecule for testosterone.

3) It is where where all the lechiten is.

I could go on and on...but I get a feeling I am wasting my breath..

Look I beleive most of your "teachings", I'm just having a hard time understand that there's no such thing as bad cholesterol. I do understand the benifits of good cholesterol. That's the one of the reason to keep some yolks in. I would think, you would only think your wasting your breath if you thought your were smarter than me. I'm open to learning, but what your telling me is different from what I have learned. Meaning it seems your saying Free range eggs have no bad cholesterol. Branch W., Dexter J and others seem to think a little diferent than you. They are elite Pros.
 
O.k My next thought was you must be natural, but you stated it. I do agree with most of what Mountaindog wrote, I don't see anything about eating more egg yolks being healthier. Just that Free Range chickens eggs are better for you. More cholesterol intake is an issue in my opinion, if your not natural. Happy for you that your bloodwork is perfect.

Also there is a such thing as good & bad cholesterol. And mountaindog just stated that cholesterol is good for you. Maybe he didn't explain it, or he knows something everybody else doesn't.

I'll say this, I do not eat refined carbs (processed and/or white) of all types 99% of the time. I take in large amounts of healthy fatty acids and when I eat carbs they are organic vegetables during the week and whole grains and fruit for the weekends (carb up). This has allowed me to keep my picture perfect blood.

I don't over eat so my triglycerides are OK.

I'm sure AAS would have a nice little impact on this situation. Luckily for me, I'm gaining at a great rate. I'll pass on the juice.

Oh no my friend, I do believe in bad cholesterol..it is when cholesterol oxidizes. I agree with you on that. But that happens due to a chemical reaction...it's not just a type of cholesterol in the food source..

I did not mean to offend you my brother. I am just so sick of people misreprsenting what I believe in..it gets annoying..

Haha I did have to laugh at one thing. Comparing the knowledge of Branch and Dexter. Look I will NEVER be as good of a bodybuilder as those guys...gauranteed, but I will take Dr Serrano's teachings, and many others I work with over theirs any day when it comes to health.

No I just meant they follow the same lines of 2/10 ratio of the egg yolk thing. Just seems to be a healthier way that's all. Not saying that you don't look like them. Another post to reinforce the loss of your credibility. By the way, I work at a Bank for a living, I am not on here claiming to be a guru, I just like helping others out., and I don't like it when I see blatantly wrong stuff like what you have been saying.

Ivan put a great post up about protecting others from bad info, and your posts are a great example.

PRETTY NICE DIET

I have been getting several request about my former mass gain diet i used to do when i was starting in bodybuilding, when nyou are young your body works very fast and you dont hold as much fat, that was my case, so i used to go up to 270 and then go down to 220, my idol was Dorian Yates and if he was doing it i was as well.... I still have the opinion that if some one want to step to the heavys he has to go high in calories, and then worry about get lean like in the old days several pros used to do, like dorian, lee priest, etc, and some amateurs and pros still does.

Here is the original Post.....enjoy it and please dont kill me, just take what you thing is usefull for you and if think nothing is usefull on this diet and you cant adjust it for your needs so PLEASE DONT KILL ME LIKE YOU USE TO DO HERE...I am just answering to request of some good fellas Pms beacuse the original thread is no longer active or somewthing....

This is a diet to gain 40 to 50 pounds of body weight in 3 months for a 220 pounds client about 9 to 10 % bf. You can go up to 260 lbs. with 14%
Doesnt matters the fat you get , we work on low down the body fat latter. Ask Dorian, Sombaty or Lee Priest , how they gain size!!!!!!!!!

OFF-SEASON DIET

·30 minutes before first meal : 6000 mg. BCAA, 10 gr. glutamine, 10 gr. creatine.
1.- 14 Egg whites 2 yolks, 2 cups of Oatmeal (no cooked)
1 banana, 3 toasted bread, 100 gr. of jelly,
omega–3 2000 mg., 2 gr. of C vit, 1000 iu. E vit

2.- 2 cups of Weight Gainer (1.200 calories)

3.- After workout:
100 gr .maltodextrin, 2cups Whey Protein,
10 gr. Glutamine, 10 gr. creatine, 6000 mg BCAA.

4.- 300 gr. of chicken breast, 600 gr. of rice.

5.- 125 gr. pasta (no cooked)
300 gr. of lean meat, 2 gr. vit C, 2000 mg omega-3

6.- 300 gr. of lean meat
500 gr of baked potato, 1 cap Soy Lecytine, E vitamin.

7.- 1 ½ cup of dry oatmeal
10 eggs whites, 1 yolk, 50 gr. of turkey ham
Calcium 1 gr., 5 mcg zinc, 6000 mg. BCAA, omega-3 2000 mg.
10 gr. of glutamine

8.- 2 cups of Weight Gainer

% of Calories aprox: Protein: 27% ( 500 gr.),
Carbs: 56% (850 gr.), Fats: 16% (120gr.)
Total Calories aprox: 6.480 cals. a day.

3 times a week eat 3 Big Mac, Large Pizza, Ice Cream plus the diet to get 10.000 cals. a day.

Health Plus Colum Cleanse once a day.


I designed this diet long time a go when i went to train with Mike Mentzer at the Venice Golds Gym back 1994, we were talking how Dorian was eating and he teach me a lot about off season nutrition, he wasnt a believer in supplements but i put them in my diet and it worked.

I use this diet with some of my pupils that needs to jump to the next class or when they need to increase their weight to get in the top of their weight class.

In my case i did it several times and after i started with Victor Munoz (Victor Martinez trainer), he told me "Heinz, you already did your work, you are thick and big but you look like a football player, so from today we are going to reshape your body and just add solid mass pound per pound and stay lean the whole year....You did great but say good bye to your off seasons!!!

The best way and the faster way to get big is like this IN MY OPINION, then you think in get lean.


This a diet with the goal of gaining 40-50 pounds in 3 months... calories, proteins everything in check.

But this diet might lead one to nowhere if proper supplementation is not leved to it, right?

How many grams of AAS a week were you on, when you achieved this 50 pounds gain?

I think I should go back to the 90's dosis, I was always looking good and tight... Lol .,, just joking guys

Listen guys, that's the way lots of pros even Ronnie used to do to get massive, it is no way to get to be a freak like Dorian or Ronnie or jump in a couple of years like u did from middleweight to superheavy eating and bulking lean.

This post was posted just to have fun and like I said, take what you need and if you don't need anything don't take it... But please guys let me tell you the truth
NO BADY had knowledge, we have guides to fallow and adjust it to what it works individually!!!

If I was 24 years old again , I will do it again combined with all the things I have learn in 22 years... Imposible right , I don't have the chance but my athletes are doing great, not with this diet, this diet has evolutioned and playing with the nutrients you can achieve individual goals

Listen dude I live in a country where all the cows and sheep roam freely, my wifes family are farmers and all their animals eat grass and my wifes family only eat their own animals and yet they all have high colesterol levels throughout the whole family.
The doctor said that they should take it easy on red meat and avoid eating too much of the organs and they should avoid the fat!


Another thing that you promote is drinking raw organic milk, I know somebody that got e.coli from drinking raw milk. Now you are going to say that it wasn’t grass fed cows, well it was. You think you are helping people and I understand that you are passionate about your beliefs but imho you are even putting peoples lives in danger without even realizing.

You say that I have discredited myself, that’s your opinion but if you ask any doctor, dietician or anyone with common sense, they will say that you are full of shit.
Now the last thing that I wanted to do is get into an argument with somebody on this forum as usually I’m a very peace loving guy.

Another thing, I don’t say that there is anything wrong with eating organic meat but where in the hell will normal average Joe’s find this food?
If I was you I would quit preaching this caveman diet and go back to Wilma and Pebbles.

Great thread! This is the type of info that most should seriously consider as nutrition my friends is part of the game. Saying that, I still don't understand why many truly do not acknowledge the importance of a solid diet over gear and what others preach to be the ultimate plan for muscle growth. I have been at this game for along time and always enjoy to hear and read what many have to say about supplementation. The basis of this game, which is so hard for many to understand is what you eat and how often you eat it. As many here, I have worked out in many gym and still have to say that the lack of knowledge on proper nutrition is what 90% are missing. Typically, you hear the same old crap over and over again. . what routine do you use to get that big. . man, I have been hearing this for over 20 years. And when you tell them is not much the routine but the food - they look at you as you were crazy or not wanting to share a BIG SECRET about getting big. Well, that is the name of the game:

I will post my off season diet and hope others do as well - maybe that will lead to many understanding the importance of nutrition and maybe get away from how much gear you need to get big.

here is my off season diet:


first meal upon wakening:
whey protein shake

Breaksfast:
1 cup of egg Whites 10 oz. steak and 1 cup of cooked oatmeal

Mid morning
Asian Tuna (very low sodium) Salad x cans (sesamie oil, green onions, water chestnuts low sodium soy sauce , with unsalted cashews. And three pieces of wasa whole grain crackers.

Lunch
16 ounces of beef/salad heavy on tomatoes and onions/either brown rice or whole wheat pasta.

Mid Afternoon
Chicken two breast with broccoli and yams.

Pre workout
One hour before
whey protein with oatmeal mix in blender

Post workout
I blend
25 grams of Maltodextrin
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 tablespoon of brown rice syrup
Natural Peanut or almond butter 1 tablespoon
1 scoop of when protien
creatine 5g
glutamine 5g
2 scoops of amino acids.
1 500mg vitamin c tab


Dinner
16 ounces of sirloin/ salad again heavy on the tomatoes and onions and one medium size sweet potato's some broccoli.

Bedtime
1 cup of eggwhites
2 tables spoons of peanut butter

late night 2AM
Two ground beef patties (lean) in buns.


I take multi V twice daily, along with a slew of others
