Carbs Before Bed?

My PWO carb comes 30 min before I hit the hay and I cant change the time I train.:(..I guess my question is if im eating carbs pre bed and still losing bodyfat should I even be worried about cutting them out when dieting for a show? This is a quote from Layne Norton......"nothing about night time changes the laws of thermodynamics and kinetics" "Ive never seen any evidence that metabolism slows drastically compared to you just being sedentary. Furthermore. Let's say it does slow down. YOU ARE GOING 8 HOURS WITHOUT EATING anything you might store will be oxidized eventually at night. hell you are normally eating every 2-4 hours anyway. it is another myth that is far overblown in my opinion" Any thoughts on carbs at night?
 
I think if its working for ya' then i'd stick with it... I personally am all about retaining as much mass as possible. I myself believe that you need a small amount of carbs for your body to presume burning calories while you sleep.. I now supplement vitamins before bed and will drink 16 oz of water before bed. No matter how you look at it your body is not gona be burning as much as if you were up...breathing slows circulation slows and its the time for your body to heal and repair itself..I think as long as your keeping strength and remaining lean stick to what works...
 
daily macros is whats important.
 
i eat eat when hungry and have a macro ratio i follow which includes carbs. if i am hungry at night (any time at night) i eat.
don't worry about it. especially if you have a trainer. just follow the advice.
