What would be less catabolic- cardio in the AM after consuming 10 grams BCAA's or cardio postworkout? My cardio is generally 20-30 minutes- pretty intense on the stepmill or incline walking on the treadmill.... I am trying to bulk up and build lean mass but want to keep the fat gains minimal. I have currently reduced my cardio from 6 days a week to now 3-4 after hearing recommendations from some on this forum. (thanks!)
Which would preserve muscle better? AM cardio or postworkout cardio? I usually lift for at least 75 minutes so that may also be something to take into consideration...
I'd rather do it postworkout so I only have to go to the gym once and can sleep in, but I have a feeling that it might compromise my gains?
