Certificate of Authenticity

Hey fella's

I recently contacted a SARM's provider and asked about the potency of their product and they sent me a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) of the raws they use.

I also see raw suppliers doing the same thing. They provide a COA of the raws you buy, saying how pure they are.

Here is my question. How trustworthy do you guys feel these are?

I honestly received the COA and thought the following scenarios could be true:
1) this could have been to another batch
2) this could have been doctored up to say anything
3) this could be real and about these specific raws

That is just my thinking with my limited knowledge. Can someone with more experience tell me whether these COA's are pretty trustworthy?

Agree with Raj. I once asked and received a similar document from a company that use to sponsor here. After a little digging I found the same exact form on another companies website. I'm talking everything from date and time to results and graphs were all the same. Bottom line these things can be faked.

So a reputable powder supplement company that I've bought nootropics from and seemed to have a good deal on creatine etc...I decided to try them out.

I received creatine, taurine, and NAC from. NONE of them looked like any that I'd ever bought from truenutrition. Or anywhere else (creatine mono always looks like creatine mono, taurine always looks like taurine, and NAC always stinks like high hell of sulfur).

I contacted them about it and they forwarded me the COAs and said they were 99% pure or greater and the biggest kick was all the "visual" and "smell" and "taste" passed as "conforms." The NAC only had a slight sulfur smell and like I said previously, every single one of them looked different than I'd ever had before. I have been buying these 3 things about a decade now on and off, with most of it from TN since 2012--but still, it always looked the same.

Their response? No refund, no store credit, no nothing. That it was because "the milling process is different from manufacturer to manufacturer" and that they had "proved" it was good to go.

I threw them in the trash.

-in-house COAs are worth jack shit in my experience with cheap powder supplements
-do you really trust in-house COAs on much more expensive things?

COAs and testing results are worth on illegal or grey area products if you need too see test results have it tested yourself otherwise it means jack

This is an instance where you have to have great trust in your supplier.
Follow your gut instinct's on this one.
