Change pins?

Helping a friend with some Synthol use, and the question has arisen regarding the use of a single pin for multiple injections, and the safety of doing so (ie sterility etc). I have seen Doctors giving botox jabs to people using insulin pins, perhaps up to 5-6 sticks with the same pin, ditto for Dentists. Opinions please.

I almost always use a new pin for each stick. You want the pin to be its sharpest to create the least scar tissue possible. Plus I think it hurts more with a dull pin. I've gone thru a box of a hundred in a week when taking thol.

). ALWAYS use a draw pin, 20 or 18g. I have a clean location for injecting and i'll reuse a pin twics if I'm doing multiple injections (but always use a draw pin) - some days up to 11. The pin get duller that you think everytime it's poked into "anything."

it definitly hurts more to use the dull needle, but I sitll reused any pins for multiple injection, such as hitting both heads of bi's on each arm with 1 pin. anything more then 4 pokes the needle is rediculous to put back in.

Usually with synthol I would draw up with a 18 or 20 and then shoot with a 25-27 guage! I know its slow and sometimes it does get clogged. Also with some smaller pins they only hold a cc but I usually have someone do it for me. Though it doesn't hurt. I dunno something about sticking my cavles with anything bigger than a 25 guage make me cringe. But I could just be a pussy/lol I have only done sythol a few times and it was along time ago and from what I hear now I always did it wrong!
