their protein powder makes me hold ALOT of water. i think that is how they got some of those stats. if you use it for two weeks, you might go up about 7-9 lbs in bodyweight. they are marketing to skinny teenagers who just look at the scale and think this is muscle.
I had to laugh when I read in that article he refers to Dr. Chris Lydon as a "he" when in fact Dr Lydon is a chick and a pretty hot one at that-some of you might remember her from the early-mid 90's in the mags and then she actually was on the cover for a special Playboy issue with female bodybuilders and fitness chicks.Oh yeah- screw Muscletech!
haha I like in the article where it says:
“In a double-blind placebo-controlled study, subjects who combined Nitro-Tech with a weight-training program gained an average of 8.8 pounds of muscle in 6 weeks while also increasing their bench press by 34 pounds. In the same study, subjects who consumed regular whey protein instead of Nitro-Tech gained only an average of 5.1 pounds of muscle and 14 pounds on their bench press.”
Damn, how come my 'regular' whey protein doesnt put 5.1 lbs on me in 6 weeks, or 14lbs on my bench? I gotta find some of this regular stuff.
