Chest acne that scarred

I have had problems with chest acne and some scarred a few years ago before I did any steroids, ironically. I went to a derm and she gave me cortisone injections that didn't do much. It's not horrible but if there is something I could do to effectively treat the situation, I would do it. I've heard of laser treatment. Anyone have any suggestions from past experience or from personal knowledge I would surely appreciate them.

sounds expensive, any ballpark price on that ness?

i got scars myself from teen years and roids

no fresh ones, but even scars can be as bad,,,people look at you funny too at the gym, aholes.

Do you mean going to a spa and getting a chemical peel professionally done or this an at home product you are talking about???

I have the worst acne and scars from it on my back....looks horrible and yes, I had it way before I ever touched AAS!

Thanks for all the input. BTW I'm taking accuitane now to help prevent any further breakouts. It seems to be working pretty good at 20 mgs. a day. I'm definitely interested in the chemical peel. Will try to look into it.

hi friend, i used tca peel 100% strength got it on internet and did it at home. i have done it twice but u cant due it if your on accutane 6 months after accutane u can due it. i had very very good results. it took away all scars on face and back. ull have to take 7-10 days of from going out though. it burns real bad as soon as it touches your skin. a dr. will charge 3,500.00 you can do it at home for under $60.00. im speaking wat happen to me only info. purposes only. i hope this helped. mexrep

Thanx mexrep! Can you give me a lead on where I can read about this tca peel or even where I can get it? I would really appreciate it. It sounds like it is exactly what I'm looking for.

I've actually heard that chemical peels work great for stuff like this. Thinking about getting it done on my back.

ya know what really works well for me is something called a "smooth beam laser" it takes about 3-4 treatments until the scars are completely gone but, wow it really does work. it's a little expensive but i thought it was worth it. my doc charges $90 per treatment. maybe you can look into it.

I have the same problem.

Heard that celtrixa is a scam and not good for you.

What worked for me is chemical peels(i think i used hq+) from internet, somewhere like amazon, and they are not as strong as what the other guy suggested but you can still go out, it only makes you a little red for a few hours. I was also on accutane when i used the chemical peel. I did that for a couple weeks until I noticed them get lighter and now I just go tanning and get dark and you can hardly see them.

Cost like $40 and used just put it on with a cotton ball, leave on for 5 min, and rinse off. It really worked for me.

They sell that on Ebay but be careful, you could really damage your skin and some even got disfigured. Read about chemical peel on Internet including pics. The process is to literally burn your skin off via chemical process. Its not a simple as putting on a lotion to get rid of some blemish.
