I live on the coast so things dock side like haddock, scroud(baby haddack) my favorite fish , but others aswell are generally very cheap compared to grocery store prices. Scallops on an occasion, still can be pricey.
I go for Bison(grassfed), or find a lean cut of steak that is on sale for when i change from 93%LGB for my red meat meal.
There always seems to be something lean on sale, like before London Broil generally is in my area as well as rump an others, compared to the pricey fattier cuts.
5dozen eggs at BJ's price jumps from 4.95 to 7.95. I grab 2 packs when it is low. Great place for the lean ground beef, competitor to costco.
When chicken breats gets below $2/lb i stock up, have a big stand alone freezer.
Got to get some pork in just for a change every now an then.
