ok I'm trying to clean up my act a bit so could you guys h elp the problem is the cals how in the world do you eat enough? my as follows

meal 1- 2 packs oatmeal,16oz OJ ,2- slices toast

meal2-mass-techw/2%milk
meal3-beef 8oz,16oz 2% milk,mixed veggies,rice 1/2 cup.
meal 4- 6oz chicken cooked in olive oilw/1/2 cup rice,1/2 cup mixed veggies ,w/diet soda 8oz
meal5- same as above - the soda
meal 6- same as above
before bed muscle milk


any in put would sure help due to the fact the cals dont add up enough (wtf) as in the past i just kinda of went with the flow and if i was hungry i would eat but i never seen the gains i hoped for or have read from you guys thanks engbulldog

I'll ask what is it you wish to achieve? I would bump up the carbs a bit with some sweet pototoes and lose the muscle milk and replace with a good whey protein concentrate before bed. How much water do you drink? Can you eat fish? there is a lot of room for improvement here but without a bit more detail it's hard to say. In general though not enough food. Put some red meat in your diet also.
 
thanks fish is a good dish,I'm just trying to gain some more size I drink around 1-2 gal of h20 per day, its just my work is f-in things up I work 2nd shift 3:30pm- 12:00 and by the time i get home its 1:00am the cals are the prob. how much per day? I'm very flexable as far as food goes btw ht-5'6 bw-198 bf 12-15% thanks again:D

You don't want to let the bf get any higher if you can help it. You'll need to increase your protein intake and try to get in 3 cardio sessions a week. no more than 30mins. each session. Try for around 3500-4000 cals and see how your body responds, if it does not put on fat try to increase cals by 250 as the weeks go by, making up from as much good protein and clean carbs as possible. Throw in the cheat meal once or twice a week, that's meal not days just to keep your sanity! keep us posted!
 
Thanks for your help I'll keep you posted,yeah my cheat meals will rotate each week:eek:
