This is Steve. He's one of those gym kids/guys that never knew the difference between a cable crossover and an incline press. He had no knowledge of protein, macros, training splits, etc. We started working together 14 weeks ago for his MMA training. 12 weeks out from the Philly Natural (this weekend), he randomly saw an ad for the Philly Natural and asked "Hey man, you think I can do this bodybuilding show on the wall?"... so we went with it.
Please keep in mind that he still doesn't understand much of what I give him. He just trains and eats like the papers I give him say. He still needs back and leg thickness, but that'll come over more time. Right now he's just looking to do the novice class this weekend and have fun.
His only supplements are whey isolate, BCAAs, and some vitamins. No fat burners.
