Comming back after a few months lay off and I feel like sh**

Ok so a few of you bros might remember that I had zero sperm because of the juice, Im back to normal now thank god and my wifes almost two months pregnant:) .

But Im sick and tired of people that keep asking me if Ive become ill and I look anorexic and I have lost a lot of confidence because of this, I know Im not the only guy that had this problem. Ive been so busy with work and other comitments that my training has slacked off but now Ive sorted everything out and Im going back to the gym to tonight. I cant wait I just want to get back in, and I know Im not going to even lift half of what I used to.

Any ideas and advice from bros that have been through what Im going would be apprectiated. Do I get back on the juice or do I come back slowly?

If I were you I'd cut yourself some slack. First of all, look at how far you've come! Now you got yourself back and are ushering in a new human life! Congratulations. And damn what people think... you have to live your life.

Now you want to get back to weights? Who cares how much you lift? Do you enjoy it? Do you really care what people think? After all, who are you doing this for anyway?

Don't repeat everything that led up to the first mess. Don't make the same mistake twice. Kinda like GW Bush said so eloquently:

"It's an old saying in Texas, it's probably in Tennessee too. Fool me once... ummm... shame on... shame on you... erm... fool me... you... You can't get fooled again!"

Wise words there.
 
Thanks bro, I hear what ya saying but it just gets to me after a while hearing the same old crap everytime, ie "what happened to you man, you got so skinny?" or "dont your wife feed you anymore?" (that ones below the belt), I used to go places and people used to show some respect and now it feels that people want to just shove you out the way in the streets and bars ormaybe I just see it that way.

Of course its going to get to me and its also going to get me upset that I cant bench as heavy as I did, but I guess if I go back to basics and try and enjoy it despite the weights I will be ok.

Im so gratefull on the other hand that I have recovered from azoospermia and hopefully my wifes pregnancy gos well and god willing we have a healthy child.
 
Man, if I were you, I'd just give yourself some time lifting naturally. There really are some good supplements out there these days that won't negatively affect your hpta. Give yourself a good 6 months to see what you can achieve naturally. I think you'll be surprised how far you can go. At that point, if you're still not satisfied, maybe consider juicing again.

Congratulations on the situation with your wife. I wish you well in that regard.

As far as the gym situation goes: Relax. In a way it could be a lot of fun for you. This could be an excellent time to start over and buid a terrific foundation for future gains. BigA has an excellent article on Growth for Beginners. Not that you are a beginner, but you could try his ideas!

Write down an eating and lifting program and some goals. Then get back after it. There is nothing that stops any of us from getting big and strong if we are healthy. Train every other day, eat six times per day, get plenty of sleep, pick one or two exercises per bodypart, train to failure between six and twelve repetitions over 3-4 sets and you'll make progress. It's just being patient and consistent. Take your time.

I agree the questions OuchThatHurts has asked you. Why do you care what others say? You did what you had to do. Your wife is pregnant and your life is in order. That is what matters, right?

Thanks for the advice and moral support guys, maybe that because my test levels are back to normal I could get better results than I expect eh?

As for feeling like a begginer, I start having flash backs of the days when I was a kid and I first stepped in the gym and it felt daunting. I never thought that I would recall that memory again (how could I forget).

AnywayI want to keep it clean and train weights one day and cardio the day after (get the old ticker working) now that Im going to be a daddy I should want to live as long as possible. I will check out BigA's guide and I will go back to basics, its the only way.
 
WOLF IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE.

MOST OF US HAVE GONE THROUGH IT....FOR SOME REASON TRAINING IS INTERUPTED...OR THE SUPPLEMENTS RUN OUT BY ACCIDENT OR DESIGN. THAT LAG TIME WHEN YOU ARE WAITING FOR YOUR OWN LEVELS TO RETURN TO NORMAL IS CERTAINLY NOT FUN! LOL.....

YOU'LL BE OKAY! :)
