Well BBA probably doesn't even know this.
I was locked into a "single board mentality" a few years ago. After a horrendous stint at EF, back when it was a free site (that's all that it's worth - LOL) I tried to contribute and ask questions. The flames came for no obvious reasons. It made me very frustrated and "untrusting" of any info obtained from boards (I dind't know there were others online!).
After reading an article on topically applied fina in Testosterone.net, it led me to the ol' Fina board. I used to gear up back in the mid-late 80's but gave it up to the tremendous problems with counterfits (even from the "best" sources). I was now contemplating using again.
Now the ol' fina board was a WEALTH of knowledge. It was Animal's main board. There were several other extremely knowlegable bros that frequented there. It seemed like if you didn't quote the text from the medical journal to back your statements, you didn't know what you were talking about! I learned a ton there! I also assumed that other than EF, there really weren't any other boards.
Well, I started to journey out - hehehe. Some of the first boards were GoHeavy and Tredia (where Zyg, a mod at fina board was mod at). I didn't really post any at GoHeavy, just read (it seemed to be more of a Chat Board). BBA told of a new board that was starting up, RippedMass. I joined there and discovered another wealth of info through Big A and company. Professional Bodybuilding spawned off this and I made it my new home. Then it went down (actually was stolen from Big A!?!?).
During this time period, I joined a LOT of boards and spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME surfing boards - LOL. When Big A started Professional Muscle, he got in touch with me and asked me to be a mod here. Hence I try and keep things in line there as my priority.
