just something cool i thought i would share with you folks. I was skeptical but now i cook all my steaks this way.

I wonder how that would work with marinades? I get comparable results with fondue.

I've been marinating top sirloin in chimichurri seasoning and olive oil for my gf and I dinner tonight.. so ill let u know 😊

Usually what I do is salt my meat and let it sit for an hour to tenderize it. Then I put it inthe Ziploc with some crushed garlic and a few sprigs of thyme. I use hot water from the sink to put in the cooler and adjust til it's slightly over 130degrees for medium rare. Let it submerge in the cooler for at least 45mins and get a nice gray color LOL...then I pan sear each side a min with some oil and butter for a nice crust! Cool thing is u can throw it in the cooler..go workout for an hour and not worry about it burning...

I do this with tri tip roast. Season and sear on both for 12 min on each side. Then wrap tightly in tin foil and place in the smallest cooler it will fit and and leave for 4 hours. Perfect medium rare and deliciously tender
