Seems like somebody is trying to cover up the story .. .someone with a lot of money. There is no way he shot himself in the stomach before shooting himself in the head.
100% agree.

THEY SAID THAT DAVE HAD A BIG BOOK DEAL IN THE WORKS.. one source said it was upwards of 1 million dollars.. you would have thought that would be something he looked forward to.. but, apparently things just got to deep for him to get out of..
because the most important person is noone but A#1
I just know from your past posts (where the information you post is something that Ive also heard from around the other side of the block "word for word" verbatim) that you are spot on correct in what you post on this board and other boards...and that you have your ear to the ground in this sport.....much more than myself. The above what you said is 100% true and the guy who told me (you probably know the same guy) was absolutely livid, fuming, that Jacobs tried to wave him over at that show..... alot of people in that audience knew exactly what was going on. This (fuming) person who shall remain unnamed is a person of note in this sport but has absolutely nothing to do with what Jacobs was involved in, but felt he was being used as a pawn just to show to LE that Jacobs was definitely connected and knew various people in the sport and could connect dots for LE.are you sure you dont have the other half of this medallion lol..)
From John Romano/Muscular Development:
Okay guys, here's the story. Dave Palumbo and I have pooled our various resources and here is what we know directly or indirectly from people who were on the scene:
Apparently, Amanda was trying to leave Jacobs as she had a bag packed. Jacobs must have gotten furious over her wanting to leave and he beat the shit out out of her, very, very badly - not only was her body racked, but the place was a wreck and there were holes punched in the wall as well as other holes indicating someone was thrown into them. She must have gotten away at one point and locked herself in the bathroom as the door to it was kicked in. At that point it was Amanda who had the gun (probably hers as Jacobs had to surrender all of his when he was arrested) and probably struggled with Jacobs over it and it went off hitting him in the abdomen at close range. He took the gun from her and then shot her three times in the head and face killing her. He then realized what he did and turned the gun on himself and shot himself in the head. That accounts for five of the six shots fired. One was obviously a discharge that probably went off during the struggle.
It is a murder/suicide and that is what the report will say when it eventually comes out. There are many more smaller details that will also come out that might surprise some of you. For right now, the cursory description I just gave will have to suffice. I'm sure we will pick this apart some more on NBR Monday night.
After someone brought up again they think someone murdered them both:
There was no "third person." Unless you know more than than the cops who were there investigating the scene. Like I said, many more nuances will eventually come out answering all the other doubts. But there is no doubt among those investigating the scene. Jacobs BRUTALLY killed Amanda and then himself. That's the story - THAT is what happened.
I'm kinda baffled by so many people's blind faith in the integrity of the law enforcement officers involved. I've seen plenty of corrupt cops in my day and for the most part they cover each other's asses whenever possible. This is especially true in smaller agencies (according to their website, Plano has 343 sworn officers-kinda wimpy compared to Los Angeles's 9681, and they're corrupt as shit) I wouldn't doubt if many of Plano's local LE were Jacob's customers that would face termination if Jacobs ratted them out. How would Plano's Police Dept like to be put on the map as a bunch of corrupt juicers???
Here is my take on the whole thing. This may have been a murder suicide, but it easily could have been a professional hit as a result of a joint conspiracy between local and/or fed law enforcement and anyone else that had something to lose. Hell, I know guys that would kill someone for a Tombstone Pizza and sixxer of Bud Light. Just imagine what kind of $$$ a pro athlete or an NFL executive would have to offer as payment for a pro hit/cover up. Everyone has a price.
Considering the kind of $$$ the NFL generates, the hit man, cops, investigators, etc all could've been bought. Hell, they may not have had a choice??? All parties involved in a conspiracy have lips that would remain sealed because they weren't keen on meeting a similar fate.
Which would you choose?
(A)Cooperating with the conspiracy, accepting the $$$, and remaining alive.
Or...
(B) Doing the right thing, not accepting $$$, contacting law enforcement, and winding up chillin' with Jimmy Hoffa somewhere.
I would choose (A), but that's just me. I'm no martyr.
Even if we get the so called "facts", the only ones that will know the truth of how things went down are the deceased(and their attacker if one such exists).
Oh yeah, this is my 1st post on a bodybuilding msg board since Raw Deal. I've lurked here awhile. Great board with a higher than average amount of credible posters. I know a few of you AZ guys personally, others I know from other BB msg boards(where I likely was banned for speaking my mind). I just couldn't remain silent on my opinion on this topic. Feel free to flame at will.
I know this is cynical-- but even if it was some sort of hit, it is almost better for most people involved, and that is ALOT of people, for it to be ruled a murder suicide.
a large scale investigation of everyone and everything would ruin many more lives and cause more restrictions in the pro football and law enforcement worlds.
i am in no way condoning the actions, as they are despicable, but two are already dead, and they can't be brought back. if anything, an extensive investigation would dredge through amanda's life in detail, and cause her family additional suffering.
many of those cops in plano were juicing so they could better perform their duties. i think we can all understand that. i don't think it is fair to suddenly be calling them all crooked.
i also think we all understand why nfl player use.
just would seem better for most if it was left at murder suicide and blew over.
I respectfully disagree. As a LE officer you take an oath to uphold the law. Using or purchasing AS w/o an Rx is illegal. As much as I'd prefer the public servants that guard us when we sleep to be chemically enhanced(as opposed to donut eating fat slobs), I have to question the morality of a LE officer that is selective about the laws they actually enforce or follow themselves. If juicing illegally is OK, what's preventing them from committing other crimes like peddling kiddie porn? Just because most of us find kiddie porn to be a horriffic crime, doesn't mean everyone in LE will. Anywho, my point being, once you take that oath to uphold the law you are no longer able to ride the fence on controversial issues. You have become a part of the system, and regardless of it's imperfections, you must enforce the laws on the books. By not doing so simply makes you crooked or corrupt.
I also don't think it's better as a murder/suicide. It won't blow over. Not only is it a disgrace to the victim's families, it will further demonize roid use among the general public while deviating from what is really going on. What is it exactly that's going on??? Once again big brother government has interfered with our personal freedoms, thus creating a drug war on a pharmaceutical that isn't nearly as harmful as legal substances like tobacco or alcohol. Personally I view this incident as the government's fault just as much as whoever pulled the trigger.
I've been using AS for decades and the general public are just now starting to realize that they have been lied to by those trying to legislate their own morality against our personal freedoms. AS are not nearly as dangerous as crack or crystal meth. You don't need to be a handyman to figure that one out these days.
We live in a society where mediocrity isn't only accepted, it's encouraged. It appears as if those that stand out and excel are criticized moreso than those that choose to play by the rules imposed upon them by the uneducated buffoons that make them. Just my 2 cc's.
