death of a friend

Well, I will start by saying hey to everyone! I just now made it over from anasci, musclemaniax, and anabolicboard. I like it thus far some of the threads have been very helpful.

I found out this morning that one of my teachers from high school and his son (who was my best friend for 5 years) were in a serious boating accident last nite/early this morning. His dad is paralyzed from the kneck down, and they still havent found his son. Talk about depressing...I grew up with this guy and did everything with him from working out to playing golf. To top it all off,...the people that hit their boat were a bunch of drunk teenagers who all walked away without a scratch. I would like to just rip their little fu**ing heads off! Not only did they take away a friends life, but they have removed a prominant teacher who had the best most positive impact on my life from teaching the next generation of students. Life sucks sometimes, but I guess there is a reason for everything.

sorry to hear that shit happened.

all i can say, and this is easier for me to say then to do, mourn the lost but also celebrate the time that you've known them. losing someone sucks ass, but remember the good times and the good they brought to the world.

keep your head up, and i wish the best for the family and friends of the two gentlemen.

I am so sorry to hear this. Tragic. It's always hard when bad things happen to good people. A classmate of mine was killed in a car accident last week. Events like these help put things in perspective sometimes... Really makes you appreciate life and the things we may take for granted.

I will keep your friends in my thoughts and prayers.

This is one of my biggest fears is that someone I love will die at the hands of someone who is drinking and driving. My condolences to you and yours.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have lost friends to tragedy (alcohol, car accidents, asthma). It's hard to go through because nobody likes to see a life cut short. Take your time to grieve and help the family and take care of yourself.
