I was having a discussion with a friend about if you're not home at time of delivery, and some one else sighns for your pack, can they still bust you. Any thoughts, would they leave and try another time?

If it's a controlled delviery they'll bust whoever signs for your pack and well they'll let the cops know what's up.

As soon as that door opens they own your ass, the rest is a technicality. For your question, though, I think they would make it work for who they want. Trying to trick Uncle Sugar has been tried and they know the tricks.

what do you mean as soon as the door opens they own your ass.you could open the door to anyone that dose not mean they own nothing.you mean if you sign for it they own your ass

I agree, it does not matter who signs for the package, if they want you then they'll get you!!!

Actually, more accurately I meant if they ARE coming in like with a warrant all you have to do is crack the door. If they are nice they take time to show you the warrant. Bottom line is Uncle Sugar can get you, period. I've seen my local courts ignore statements, tesimony and evidence(not all at once) and do what they thought was right. I'm not saying it wasn't right, just that they got the job done with less than due consideration to all fats involved.

OK so they have a warrant, but if you don't sign and your house and computer is clean, then the warrant just means they can search, not arrest.

Oh sure, its a search warrant, thats what its for. IF they find stuff you have legal problems(of course). I've never heard of a story where they leave your house like they found it though. Kinda like border patrol dismantling your car for you.
