Good Morning,

Had question about contest dieting. I know many people will drastically cut carbs or even do like a 3 low 1 high type of program (low carb days/high).

So far, thanks to Notsobig32, I'm eating carbs again ED and still leaning out. My question is this: does anyone cycle the types of carbs they eat.For example day 1: Carbs from grains; day 2 carbs from veggies/fruit only?

I'm just wondering if you could remain fully charges but reap some of the benefits that would normally be associated with a traditional carb cycle.

Any feedback or experience on this would be great.

im sure you can, its all about how your body will react! everyone is diff but by following a protcol like tat, it can only shock the body and allow it to change (hopefully for the better)

how many grams of carbs are uyou eating now and leaning out still?
 
Thanks. Right now, I'm eating 225 grams of carbs per day, mosly in the first 4 of 6 meals. The last two meals contain only protein and fat with trace carbs from veggies.

Fat is at 100 grams roughly and protein is around 375 - 400.
On days that I don't lift, I only eat carbs over the first three meals.

but, not day to day as you suggested......more fine tuned
 
When I diet, I might have oatmeal in the morning and veggies the rest of the time except post workout.
 
its like mixing paint, you keep tryin diff types til you nail the color your lookin for. of course log all this and you can go back and see what worked for ya.
