A Shame

It ws and is a shame what she does for money to do the GNC and Ms. Olympia she got 2nd in the GNC and 7th in the "O"...

I have to say she seems very nice but she is for all intents and purposes ..a man..she sounds and looks nothing like a women and that is sad since i can not see her turning into a women when she is all done before she is 30... long time to live with a manly look and sound..

I have no experience with the sides effects for a women so ia m unsure if she can reverse any damage done by all the gear she has OBVIOUSLY takes..

Sad that the sport does not pay better or contract the women like a few of the men get...

hmmm.. i havent seen it yet. doesnt sound like its gonna be a great representation of the BB world.

i wish they could use a socially accepted (by "normal people's" standards") like Lisa Bickels. she's a great BBer and still looks great. from a BBers perspective it doesnt matter, but for something to be shown to the general public (who already has us pinned as outcasts) i wish they could use a "softer" image. i dunno if that makes sense.

being "fuckable" shouldnt affect BBing scores but it is upsetting seeing girls get huge at the expense of femininity

the light weights and middle weights i dont see it as much but the heavies i think it shows (the facial changes) and its kinda upsetting.

i'll look out for the show. i dont even know if my idiot roommate (el Pollo Loco) has cable... i find out in a few

the show was real good- it was on Discovery a bunch of times already...she is also a member on muscle mayhem boards...I think she portrayed womens bbing in a great manner...she did look a little manly when very lean, but in the offseason she looks good along with her brunette friend, but imho bb women in the offseason look real good to me personally, its just when they are shredded that they are a little manly...she discusses drugs by saying that it did not build her body, she says people say that if they took that many drugs they would look like her(something like that), but it really is a committment and dedication that took her where she is. Unfortunately womens bodybuilding is tougher than mens and she needs to do what she needs to do to make some cash for food supps, shows, etc...great show overall and to really see these women at this level is impressive

good post. i just saw some of her pics on the net. i think she looks great from a BBing stand point and from the pics i saw she still looked good face-wise (didnt have the drug look) that may not sound right, but i hope you know what i mean. i agree on the offseason comment. the lightweights from what i saw from a few of my friends, look fine all year long. from what i saw of the heavies (pix) they look better when not all dieted down and stage ready, which is most of year. i think thats a good thing.

as for the food/supps/show funds.... gotta do what ya gotta do. there's a market out there.. she's getting what she can out of it.

she shows how she has a website that she poses for i think in really skimpy stuff and for members.. naked pics, i think, i dont want to get this wrong, but she takes this provacative pics and she really looked good imo, I like that offseason bber girl look, not all do tho, and she talks to members online thro a video difgital camera and they ask her to take pics and pose and she does it for a fee, but she makes some good money, she doesnt bust her ass, and she is happy, and I respect that very much. As long as you do what you enjoy its all good, even if it means you got to do stuff like this, but truly you got to see these types of women in real life and not from tv to judge, because they really look good in real life and have some small ass waists...i respect womens bbing and hope it excells, but I hope more importantly bodybuilding keeps excelling...

but they said she has like what 400 memebers who pay 25 bucks a month?

Shot...I believe your right about the 400 members a month. Like people have mentioned...they have to resort to other mean of making money. I personally know a pro female who gave up on Bbing as she won the overall at NPC Nationals and actually won a few shows in her first two years in the IFBB. She couldn't even get a supplement contract. One company did offer to sponser her...by selling her their products at cost. I know another female that has her pro card that hasn't competed in the IFBB yet and she does the website/webcam for money. She says she makes very good money doing it.

I respect her hard work....dedication...drive....and the ability to do what it takes to be at the top of her sport.

WE can sit here and tell her she looks like shit and is ruining her body...but I hear people on here everyday talk about how the govt needs to leave us alone...all we want to do is put on a little size...she is no different.

Did not see the show, but used to train at the same gym as Joanna and she was a very good looking, pretty young woman and still very, very muscular that was when she had just got here Pro card. Really hope she has not messed things up by using the wrong type of AS because she is such a down to earth nice person.
