I've always wondered if they have normal jobs. I dont see how there would possibly be anytime to work. I've never actually looked into it but it would be interesting to know what professions they have. Like what if Phil Heath was a bank teller or maybe Gustava worked at a smoothie shop lol

yeah and what if Ronnie was a cop too??

Mark Dugdale owns his own business i believe.

i would say MOST pros have jobs. its not that difficult. life goes on even if you have to eat several times a day.

most pros don't make enough money to NOT work. or at least do something on the side. this isn't the NFL. just cause you are a pro in bodybuiliding doesn't mean you will make a penny from it. -STEELE

Kevin English manages the Bev Francis Powerhouse in NY.

And Branch Warren:

“I apply the discipline I learned in sports to business. Trish and I have a company called Maximum Logistics. We consult with companies and help organizations get their products delivered to overseas markets throughout North America, Asia, and Europe.”

“Thanks to the Arnold Classic, we were able to get started and build our own company. We used all my initial prize money and launched Maximum Logistics as a freight forwarding company. Trish used to work in the industry and now we are able to work together. We work with all types of companies, small and large and even work with some supplement companies. I like to stay busy, because the busier I am the more organized I feel. I schedule my workouts just like a business appointment. At one time I trained others, now I just focus on training myself and I give Trish advice if she asks. She knows what to do. For myself, my No. 1 goal is to take #1 at the Olympia and win the Arnold Classic. "

Not with nice respectable jobs like that.. If the list went on and on you'd eventually have to get into the drug dealers, male escorts, prostitutes, etc..

Based on the price of GH I would guess that pros without a sponsor are almost required to be drug dealers.

two pros i know personally both work full time, one in a court room and one as a full time hustler

i do seem to see a trend of jobs which allow a lot of free time...for example rn...3 day work weeks pretty normal....firefighter is good job for bbs lots of free time to eat and train

missing the point

i think the point is, that we are from all different walks of life. most have to work, or maybe hustle on the side.
point is, being a pro does not mean you are making money in this sport. -STEELE

my advice, is to take up golf. lol

To my understanding, the current Mr O's majority of income comes from a very successful real estate company.

You'd almost be dumb not to have something fall back on to. Accidents, diseases, etc can end a career very quickly. What happens after the career (read: body) is gone?

Or at least take your earnings and build some type of business or something to help you when you retire.

You're one to talk, Phidias! LOL.

Sound advice... :p

Every time I look at your contest pics, I go shopping for new golf clubs. :p

True story, I picked up a bad-ass driver one day after you posted some pics.

:)
