Do doctors ever prescribe HGH for post surgery?

Do doctors ever prescribe HGH for patients who just had surgery to help heal the tendons, ligaments, or muscle they had repaired?

If they do, how long do they prescribe it for and does you insurance cover it?

I'm 26 years old. I had surgery on May 9 to repair a completely torn pec. I'm in physical therapy right now. I heard HGH can speed up healing but would only use it under my doctors care. I would NEVER buy it black market.

Is there a chance my insurance company (Empire Blue) and my doctor would help me?

i think they onley give it to burnt people,eg truma.

go black market, even if you could find a dr. to do it your insurance would deny any coverage for it. yes it will speed healing of the connective tissue

Let's say my doctor prescribed it but my insurance wouldn't cover it and I had to pay out of pocket, how much would it cost me and for how long?

Also is it possible that I could eventually be fully healed of this injury and repair WITHOUT taking HGH or steroids?

without a doubt you can heal without it, gh will only help speed the process. i believe gh from a us pharmacy is 1200-1700 per 100iu, not sure.

no i did not i wanted to be clear of everything and let my body heal naturally with good nutrition and rest

If I were getting surgery i would contine it as usual... it can't cause problems ..it could only help...look at the studies of what it DOES do..is there anything there you would'nt want if you were getting surgery???
I never heard of a Dr. Suggesting a GH/IGF test before surgery cause if yer too high it could cause problems... If you are 18 and yer IGF is like 800 that day, would it cause problems??? Nope..so why would you worry about using something that helps repair and rebuild your body bef-during-and aft surgery?? If I were going under the knife I would atleast make sue my levels were above high normal... ie: not 10 iu per day... but 4 iu would be good... also I see people post about not using test when getting an operation...why wouldn't you use test or a similar anabolic to "rebuild and repair" what has been done to you??? you think that doing a 6 sets of bench presses warrants some GH, Test, Tren, Insulin, IGF, Carbs, Protein, Creatine ect ect...but someone cuttin you open moving things around replaceing things..then doing post surgery rehab wouldn't warrant any assisted and improved recuperation abilities??? then you don't know why you are using AAS, GH ect in the first place!!!! If theese thinns could be harmfull they would have drugs that they gave you b4 surgery to lower all the "ANABOLIC" hormones in your body bfroe and after surgery..Cause GOD FORBID!!! you have any enhanced recuperitive ability above that 80 yr old grandma that went before you!!!

That means to build...or repair... if I got cut open I would do everthing in my power to make sure that I could repair and rebuild at a maximum rate.l..wouldn't you??? so....would you wanna be taking 2gms test ect..and 10iu pd of gh?? I dunno about that...but would you wanna have your repair and recuperative hormones (at least the ones we know of) in an optimal range??? I would hope so, or u don't understand what you are pokin in yer ass and why!!!!

I recently broke both arms and a shoulder. After talking with the doctor, who was wondering how I would cope, since I live alone, I asked if she might prescribe GH to me, since in this state I could basically NOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL and so, needed to heal as quick as possible. She just laughed.
