What do you eat pre and post?

I usually train in the mornings after I drop my kids off. Eating is tough in the morning with getting them ready and dropping them off so I need something quick and easy.

I’ll throw oats + iso in a blender with almond milk and blend it up. Was using egg whites but it was giving me the shits.
Comes out to:
75g carbs
50g protein

Intra - intra workout with 50mg dextrose and bcaa

Post - rice cereal + same pre workout shake.

2 hours after - chicken and rice

have you already tried it?
i more or less tried everything on earth over the years as my pre:
nothing
shake
cream of rice+whey+fruit
cream of rice+whey+fruit+10g nutbutter
same as the 2 above with oats
chicken and rice
....
also experimented with timing, everything from 3h pre to 30min pre.

at the end of the day, i always go back to a very light pre workout option
90min pre: 35g clear whey (hydrolyzed whey)
intra, which around one third of it i down at the beginning of the workout: 25g clear whey, 15g eaas, 10g glutamine peptides, 25g cyclic dextrine, 10g creatine
around 30 post: 120g oats, 60g whey, 250g blueberries
around 90min after that: 300g lean meat, 200g champignons, 90g carbs from rice or noodles or bread
Yeh I tried the cream of rice thing with peanut butter and sugar free chocolate syrup a while. Got that from Mountaindog. I just have to have some food and a some what "full" feeling in my stomach when I workout. In a way a cup of oatmeal and 50 gr of Isolate is almost like a meal. 50 gr protein and 54 gr of carbs. I hit the gym at 5 am during the week. So its quick to make and eat and hit the gym 30 minutes. It may be too much too soon before the gym but I don't get sick. I tried the empty stomach thing. My body wasn't having it. I can do the shake thing. But it just doesn't give me that "full" feeling in my stomach. So I dropped it after a while and I'm just gonna stick with the cup of oatmeal and isolate mixed in. Chocolate oatmeal I call it. Lol.

What I do with the cup of oatmeal and 50 gr Isolate mixed in is real quick. I have it already sitting on the counter the night before in the tupperware container. I get up walk in the kitchen and add water and nuke it. Wash it down with my flavored water with 6gr of Citrulline mixed in. Hit the gym shortly after.

in cutting phase usually oats with whey and low kcal fruit like strawberry. in bulk just rice and chicken keeping it simple

I tried the COR with whey and could never get it right. It always came out globby and chunks and just wasn’t enjoyable at all.

Pre- COR with either chicken tenderloins or ground turkey

Intra - glutamine and karbolyn and EAA

Post- whey isolate with cereal

Pre workout is some sort of lean protein, some complex carb and a little healthy fats.

Intra- karbolyn with 5g glutamine and 10g of EAA

Post workout- whey iso with dextrose and slin

Hour later I eat lean protein, rice and small salad

Pre - Rice, chicken, olive oil, sometimes a piece of fruit
Intra - karbolyn, eaa, sodium
Post - any protein I feel like. Rice, avocado, piece of fruit

I like mine with the consistency of paste. Cannot stand runny oatmeal. I'd gag. Ha ha. Try adding more water.

Stop and stir while it cooks
Yeah this helps a lot. I stir it really frequently. Also make sure you’ve stirred the mix really well, just keep it silky via constant movement before and during.

Another thing you can do is mix equal weight water and protein powder and throw it in the freezer until it gets almost a pudding consistency while cooking your cream of rice, then pour it over the top. I usually prefer it this way with some peanut butter mixed in too.

If you follow the instruction on the box of COR it comes out perfect every time . I make mine on the stove not microwave
