Do sharps bins at gyms condone use of steroids?

Just found this in my local paper and wanted to know what opinions people had. Are the gym in the wrong for condoning the use of steroids at the gym or are they being responsible and protecting people who don't use steroids?

I could not believe it when I saw sharps bins in the LA Fitness here.
Would not of expected it from a large chain gym.

On one hand there are a ton of conservative "not in my backyard" people here that get all up in arms over anything. They protested the opening of a shop that sold sex toys even, no tattoo shops in the area, etc.
On the other hand it's a rich yuppie area where people have have the money for whatever drugs of their choice. Coke and herion are common in the high schools and it's not uncommon at all for kids to be going to rehab all the time. So if they are doing a lot of hard drugs and have the money for it, I'm sure a ton of people in the area do roids too. (and probably the majority of them improperly since they are just looking for an easy way out)

there are sharps bins in the bathrooms of my governemt work place...they are there for diabetics. I think the paper may just be looking for a story where it doesn't exist.

These establishments are condoning and providing safe disposal of medicinal hazards that people create in a bathroom. Simple. Dont get sucked up in the imaginations of those trying to sell you something...like a newspaper.

A lot of people inject slin PWO..... But I do inject my carnatine pwo, but I always take my sharps with me. But others beat me to it I was going to say diabetics also.

The funny thing is though that there is no reason at all to be shooting up your gear at the gym. Wait 15-20 minutes until you get back home to do it. Doing your HGH/slin 15 minutes early isnt going to make a bit of difference in growth. It just plain silly. I admit that I used to do my slin at the gym in the stall, but looking back now I can see how silly I was being.

I wish guys would just wait till they get home to mess with that stuff. Its much safer all around for the user and the rest of the members at the gym.

How idiotic to do that in the locker room come on! Typical the 'world revolves around me'-behaviour. Must be a great sight for children to walk into a locker room and seeing a juiced up beast injecting into his ass.

Even for diabetics, unless it's an emergency I know of no diabetic that goes around injecting his or her insulin in a public space unless absolutely needed.

It would be very handy to dispose of the used pins you could bring from home, instead of stashing them in an old protein jug or hunting some safe container to throw them away in....

I think this is a great idea....I know for a fact that young kids at my golds dump there used goods in the garbage can....I dont think this is very safe for the people who have to clean the locker room
