Do u find that your mental sharpness & clarity goes down when u eat too much?

Try 2 grams of l-tyrosine 20-30 mins prior to eating….I'm sure it will help.
 
Guys, i've been eating allot lately in my quest to bulk up. I wouldn't say allot but around 3000-3200 calories. I when from 2200.

Recently, i've found that i have been experiencing lack of clarity and sharpness. I'm not sure if its the increase in calories or due to training or work stress.

It would be helpful if you guys could share your experience and knowledge and what do you do to combat such issue.

I don't from eating too much but I do when I'm not eating enough or cutting calories.
 
Of course. Everyone has pretty much covered it... energy to digest food and slin response etc. I guess if you are not used to it any amount can have this effect but I would guess 3200 cals is nothing to most people. An extreme example is when I go to my gf's parents for dinner and eat about your days cals in 1 meal and I am pretty much useless for 2 hours after :eek:
 
I know you have probably thought about this but have you ever tested your blood glucose levels? Maybe ask a diabetic relative or friend to check you with their blood glucose meter about two hours after a big meal. Do some research on what normal levels should be. If it turns out you are diabetic ask the doc for metformin and search the metformin info on this site:

Carbs always makes a more sluggish thought process for me and protein heightens my alertness. Also used to drive long distances 9-12 hour days and protein snacks really do keep you more focused
