I have been on HRT for about 7 years (chalk me up to a dumbass AAS user in my early - mid 20s... no PCT, WAY too much Test, etc...HPTA crashed permanently). My doc has prescribed Andriol (oral Test-Undecanoate) and I question whether the stuff even works... especially over the course of several years. With Andriol, I only feel the "test" effects for about the first week on it and then basically nothing. If Andriol were truly effective in getting the test into the bloodstream (I understand they claim it is done via the lymph system) wouldn't everyone be using it? There have to be some downsides to it and I think the absorption (or lack thereof) has to be one.
I want to ask my doc to switch to an injectable test for HRT. I've seen several threads suggesting anywhere between 100 and 300 mg/wk. I know everyone is different but any suggestions for what I should be asking for? (dosage, which ester or blend, ???). I'm taking 160mg / day of andriol and my test levels have been around 10 mmol/l (normal being 8-38). I'm 6'2" 240, about 15% and 36yrs.
Anyone elses advice or experiences greatly appreciated. Also, any arguments or articles supporting injectable over oral test would be great.
