Bacopa and phosphatydilserine have been good for me -- mainly memory.
I saw nothing from any racetam.
Provigil is good for a nice calm concentration.
I like mucuna puriens too. Although not a nootropic, the mood benefits contribute to a good state of mind.
Bacopa is cheap. PS is pricey so, I use on again off again. Mucuna is dirt cheap. Provigil is very pricey and I use it only for special occasions.

I have Phenibut. It knocks me on my ass. How many days do you use it consecutive for results diminish? I've read it doesn't take long

What about any brain boosting?

I've started on True Protein's 5-htp at 300mg nightly and can honestly say it feels like an anti-depressant without sides. Not sure if this is considered a nootropic though.

I take 1/4 reccomended dose of Phenibut almost every day. It knocks me out pretty quickly (along with melatonin) and I sleep well and have intense dreams. I haven't noticed any tolerance issues doing it that way.

would u beleieve they prescribe him 100X10mg tablets a month?

i just take as many as i please, the guy cant go through half of them alwise he turns into a zombie

these things are like the steroids of study, ive wagged entire semesters of university lectures and within 2-3 days before the exam hit the ritalin and end up with a high distinction

I've used it pre workout, works great, and for studying as well. I break out on my face from using it, I mean 3-5 huge zits at a time. I never break out otherwise. It also has a nasty comedown for me, so I don't use it anymore.

They really did help me focus and retain information.
I preferred them over adderall, which made me want to go do stuff other than study, such as clean and organize my apartment.

I still have them, but rarely use them since I haven't studied anything extensively in 6 years.

Actually amphetamine salts. They have a paradoxical (opposite) effect on children. Give em to adults and they are literally legal speed. Not sure they are considered a nootropic though!

Adderal- another amphetamine salt that works on the dopamine reward center of the brain. ie cocaine. Same exact thing. People snort it. Adderall and a newer cousin called Vivance. Same shit.

BTW almost forgot. Phenibut every night for sleep. 3 grams. Works like a charm- better than any prescription sleeping pill such as Ambien or Lunesta. Have not built a tolerance in 5 years. Phenibut is a prscription in many european countries and was discovered in Russia as a psychiatric drug and prescribed to this day. It has a very synergistic response with tyrosine, macuna pruriens, and arginine. Those in combination are the best sleep aid ever. You can find them together in a product called Somatomax or just make your own as I do much cheaper (a fraction). There is a study concluding that this combination also releases endogenous HGH 20X normal secretion during REM sleep. I love it as it is a staple every night for me.
