If you check my history I have been posting here for a while so I am not an advertiser in the least bit, but I do have something for you all.
I was told of the wonders of resistence training and power sets in comparison to the five days a week of overloading that I was doing. I was hesitent to try until recently, over a year later.
I was taken to a gym here in town, to give my opinion on the equipment. I was given no prior knowledge to what would be there, just they wanted ym opinion. So I went and it changed my world.
The studio is called MaxOut and is located in Winter Park, FL. Google will find it under Strength Studio Winter Park, FL.
The equipment thier is designed by the director of orthopedics at Shands hospital in Gainesville, and UF and UCF now use it.
The way it works is that all machines are free weights hooked upp to pully machines hooked up to computers....huh? We for instance you have a full bench with a full bar and free weights. You stack the bar with four times your normal limit. You lower the weight, and at the bottom of the movement the computer kicks in and lifts to 85% of your max. So say 400 on the way down and 100 on the way up. Squats 1000 on the way down 200 on the way up. Thier is a "machine" for every muscle group.
The average, and we are no means average, person can only work out thier once a week. I find for me that an upper body and lower body day with one weak point day in the gym is more than enough.
I hav egained 15% in all areas in the last 3 months. I must tell you that I am starting working for them in two weeks as their marketing director. I will offer any person on here a free workout any time they want if you are in Orlando. I ask nothing in return just your thoughts as we are still perfecting this equipment with each use.
