The lady who took my blood said people with too high iron count actually pay the facility to draw and toss their blood.
As mentioned in my post you quoted: "If you have a medical condition that is a requirement for you to do therapeutic phelbotomies. Absolutely they'll do this. Otherwise you can't request this.".
That would be do to a scripted therapeutic phlebotomy from one's physician. If it's high iron, that's hemochro matosis.
You can also have a scripted therapeutic phlebotomy for polycythemia.
Or any other blood disorder that's been scripted. In most cases, yes the individual has to pay out of pocket.
Blood centers aren't facilitated to check for iron or other hematological blood disorders for prescreening.
