It has come to my attention as of late, and a few others as well; some folks here are very easily "mesmerized" and completely enthralled by certain "gurus". This is what keeps people like FoodFreak, Fathead, Mr. Biceps, and other frauds in business. They feed off of the idea that a lot of us are damn near body-dysmorphic and always are in search of something, anything --- that will deliver us more success in building our bodies. We are never satisfied -- and although many of us know deep down that this shit is really simple and basic (i.e, genetics, diet, training, supps) we often think to ourselves that " I must not be doing something right, because I have done exactly what so-and-so said to do but do not look like him....there must be something he is keeping from me, some secret, or protocal." Then we hop from one regiment to another in hopes that someday we will get it right and wake up looking like Cutler. I have come to terms with myself long ago, and knew I would never be able to be successful (as in make enough $ to earn a living) in the sport aspect of it...I could still have a powerful and muscular body that was attractive and useful.
So I am pleading with some of you newbies and some older members to not jump on the next bandwagon that comes riding into PM town. We have VERY good people here if you are interested in training/diet/prep/supps routines. You can trust them, they have been here a long time and what's more they check out -- something that's done here to ensure our members are safe. They are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and you cannot go wrong with them. Switching methods is not bad, it is good to change things up a bit, just remember that in the end it is all basically the same principles achieved in a slightly different manner. However, everyone of us at some point has to come to terms with ourselves and just be real for a moment. What is your true potential in this lifestyle/sport? Some members here are blessed with the "right stuff" to have an impact in this arena -- but most of us do not. And there is NOTHING wrong with that. Just being in shape and fit already places you in a category that exceeds 90% of the gen population. I am happy with that, not content because that would ruin my desire for improvement -- we can ALWAYS improve, how much depends on genetics in the end -- not training, drugs, diet.. Like IABADMAN had said in another thread: " For some people their body does not want to be big" <it was not exactly in those words, but the point is that your genes will determine your limits. Trying to alter this fact will only hurt your body.
And to one member, T.O.M. -- There have been many posts that I have read from you that have demonstrated your gullibility. I have bit my tongue with you out of respect for your opinion, but now calling people who are PROTECTING this site from frauds/scammers "pussies" is where I draw the line. I was trying to expose GK in order to keep members LIKE YOU from getting suckered, or worse investigated. Why is it so hard for you to see the truth? I have been here at PM since the beginning, and I can tell you one thing for sure -- we (the vets, mods) do whatever we can to protect our own. I am not kicking anyone that is down, I am doing what I can to disinfect this site of scum. GK is an opportunist and he KNEW he had a loyal following (and I have also found out much of what he posted was a cut-and-paste job) and at this point he figured "why not?" And stating to members that if they do not like it they should stay off his posts is ignorance. This site is for discussions (good OR bad) and TRUTHS <--- at least we try to keep some semblance of this notion. What would happen if people who did not agree or like something about a thread simply did not post on it? An issue (especially ones that are deeply layered) cannot be thoroughly examined without several perspectives. I am not saying that every thread needs to be attacked, but information is brought forth from alternate points of view -- and yes, sometimes things get a little heated (we are meatheads for christ's sake) but our mods are on top of things in a most efficient way. That is what makes this site the best. Look I am not trying to get you all riled up, you just needed to hear this.
