What in your guys opinion is the easiest gear on hair? i.e. shedding, hair loss.
Gear is different for everyone. Based on my experience and per many doctors and micro-biologist I listen to , it is estrogen not androgens that make your hair fall out.
Wow. Is that why so many women have male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia)? Then if that is true, why do females with high androgen levels get androgenic alopecia?
I respectfully disagree with you on this one...I do however like to keep an open mind. Can you provide some good studies that show this?

Quad - yes I will pull some studies or put you in touch directly with source.
If women have high androgens they would see hair loss. If women increased ratio of estrogens, they would see hair growth. In men - same thing - higher estrogens - hair loss. Higher androgens - hair growth.
Regarding women and androgenic alopecia, androgens are often the cause of female alopecia, there is another hormonal factor – estrogen. This is hardly surprising, considering that abundant hair is clearly a female characteristic. In contrast to testosterone, estrogen helps hair in WOMAN. It does this by helping the hair grow faster and stay on the head longer – resulting in thicker hair. This is the reason women’s hair gets fuller during pregnancy when estrogen levels are quite high, then sheds several weeks after the baby is born.
Estrogen deficiency in women as a cause of hair loss has not found its way into medical textbooks but this does not stop it from happening.
