Easiest on hair?

What in your guys opinion is the easiest gear on hair? i.e. shedding, hair loss.

Supposedly *, *, * and * are the worst if you are pre-disposed to thinning hair &/or hair loss. Anything DHT derrived or converts to DHT and those that involves the 5alpha-reductase enzyme will do it.
If you are worried about it get your MD to prescribe Propecia and use Nizoral shampoo every day.

It depends primarily if you are prone to hairloss, because almost every gear will in some way affect it.
Maybe you should consider getting some finasteride (propecia) to block the 5-alpha riductase and consequently any prostate issues-related hairloss.
But imho there are way different things to consider before and instead of this one.
Have you ever taken any gear?

Gear is different for everyone. Based on my experience and per many doctors and micro-biologist I listen to , it is estrogen not androgens that make your hair fall out.

For example, Mast prop is derived from DHT (which has in the past been consider prime culprit of MPB) does not convert to estrogens thus should should not cause hair loss but actually increase hair growth. This has been my experience. When I use Mast I have increased hair growth everywhere inc. on my head.

It is when I use, for example, Test E or Dbol, which converts to estrogens that I have noticed significant hairloss.

This has been just my experience - again, everyone is different.

Wow. Is that why so many women have male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia)? Then if that is true, why do females with high androgen levels get androgenic alopecia?
I respectfully disagree with you on this one...I do however like to keep an open mind. Can you provide some good studies that show this?

Quad - yes I will pull some studies or put you in touch directly with source.
If women have high androgens they would see hair loss. If women increased ratio of estrogens, they would see hair growth. In men - same thing - higher estrogens - hair loss. Higher androgens - hair growth.

Regarding women and androgenic alopecia, androgens are often the cause of female alopecia, there is another hormonal factor – estrogen. This is hardly surprising, considering that abundant hair is clearly a female characteristic. In contrast to testosterone, estrogen helps hair in WOMAN. It does this by helping the hair grow faster and stay on the head longer – resulting in thicker hair. This is the reason women’s hair gets fuller during pregnancy when estrogen levels are quite high, then sheds several weeks after the baby is born.

Estrogen deficiency in women as a cause of hair loss has not found its way into medical textbooks but this does not stop it from happening.

Let me make sure I get the gist of this - Estrogen in women grows hair, androgens (or lack of estrogen) in women causes shedding and the INVERSE is true for men. Androgens in men grows hair and estrogen causes shedding?
Receptor based you think?
