Eating on the run while dieting

Opinions. Is it better to fast the day till you can get to clean food, or eat something less healthy but a smaller amount?

I did. And usually have a chance to cook early an I carry a six pack bag. Today was an off day because of an emergency so decided to fast rather then eat crap. I don't work in town where I live so when I have to run, I don't get back for awhile.

If im stuck without food i run to a store and get a tub of cottage cheese and some cashews and mixem together. very tasty

Yeah that would have been a good idea. I was exhausted running from meeting to meeting and living on a sugar free redbull all day. Just got home and need to eat...

I keep a grocery bag in my car.

In this grocery bag:

-Jar of Natty Peanut butter
-6 Ziploc bags; each with 40-60g whey protein
-Jar of Humapro tabs
-Bag of raw almonds
-Gallon jug of water
-Tablespoon

This is my "In Case Shit" bag. "In Case Shit" happens, I always have food.
I've kept an "In Case Shit" bag in my car since I was in college.


I don't understand why one must miss a meal.
