Estrogen question
Does anyone here feel that the gains during a cycle is better if not taking a anti estrogen(Im not talking after, Im talking during the cycle).
I have read and heard from alot of places that estrogen is slightely anabolic and that its needed for the testosterone to have full effect.
Is this true in real life and not just in some studies??

Well, when I didn't use antiestrogens, I noticed that I gained more weight...but it was water...felt puffy. That was then, but now I use them all the time during cycles and have noticed that they help to keep the bloat down but they don't seem to interfere with anything majorly. Later =)

in my opinion
the extra water gained from no anti-e usage is beneficial to a powerlifter, i usually run anti's for the first part of the cyc
then abt 2 weeks out i will cut them and bloat up, the extra h20 makes me feel as if i am stronger, but if i need to cut the h2o i use a lil lasix
but there is a drawback
the extra h2o, makes u get out of breath very fast, no matter what cardio condition ure in, so take that into effect too
if ure only doin a push pull meet, it will be a slight benefit
but if ure doin a three way, then it may hinder you, thus u didnt train with the extra weight so u may not be used to it
as for bb i have no idea, lol jk
take care

It makes a difference on paper, not in real life. It will keep the bloat down, so you won't gain as much water weight, but the muscle gain will not be interfered with.
There was also a study years ago about how nolvadex can interfere with IGF-1 production. Again, on paper only. In real life, the difference is too miniscule to be noticeble.

Okay thanks, Il take that in consideration when Im gonna plan my first cycle.
What is best, to run arimidex during the cycle or nolva??
is HCG good to have in the end and the middle of the cycle??
I only have one nut so Il rather spend some extra money and be almost 100% sure nothing will happen to it.

definitely
I notice a definte gain when I don't use anti-es. I am not very prone to holding water. My first real cycles I used Clomid b/c it was suggested. But I soon learned that my gains where much more to my liking by dropping the Clomid and only using it post cycle. You do have to keep closer tabs on the nips when going this route.
