It's known that some estrogen in needed for muscle growth. I've also read that too much estrogen will also act in a way that prevents (so to say) muscles for "breaking down" during exercise. That, of course, is a bad thing for bodybuilders since the entire muscle building process is based on 1st breaking it down so it can be rebuilt.
Can anyone explain at what level estrogen would be too high and at what level it would be effective for muscle growth?
Back when I was a kid I had high estrogen (around 80). That isn't a problem anymore but it just got me curious if it could have been a limiting factor back then.
