Fatty liver

So I went to the er with severe bloating, stomach pain, and rectal bleeding. I was bleeding severely, so of course I panicked and went straight to the hospital. After blood work, X-rays, and an ultrasound, the Dr said I have ulcers, gastritis, and fatty liver. I'm coming to the conclusion that I have a severe gluten intolerance (I eat a slice of bread and bloat like crazy), but was not expecting the fatty liver results (I've been tested 2 previous times and always negative). Rectal bleeding is from hard stool, which I've been dealing with for a while, but I've never had bleeding like I did last night and today. So I'm posting because I want to see what others with similar issues have done, to get things back to normal. I've thought of tudca and nac, but not sure. I'm sure my Tylenol, and ibuprofen use has played a major part in this, as I do not drink, and haven't used orals in over 7 yrs. Any advice, suggestions, etc would be so appreciated... And please no stupid comments, or arguing, just want some genuine help (dietary, supplements, etc). Thanks to all.

What does your current diet look like? Obviously you need to follow up with specialists. How large was the rectal tear? Are you going to see a GI?

Little Slice is right in that losing fat is the only way to really improve a fatty liver and there are studies showing that DNP may reverse fatty liver. I've looked into it a bit and have not found any type of protocol specifically for a fatty liver so I don't know if a traditional dnp run is best or maybe a lower dose for a longer time. Post up if you look into it and find anything.

longer duration and lower dose is definitely more bearable/sustainable..

probably lower side effects as well

not a fat fuck with diabetes...diet is basic, chicken, eggs, broc, cauliflower, oatmeal from time to time, i use almond milk as i cant handle lactose very well, tilapia, and red meat once in a while. i wouldnt say i follow a keto diet, but its lower carb wise, 75-100g carbs per day. like i said ive never had any liver issues in the past, so thats why this is the last thing i was expecting. i also dont have the typical symptoms associated with fatty liver, other than the bloated feeling. now i spoke with my older brother and he stated that its common in the men on my dads side, but my dad included they were heavy drinkers.

and yes they referred me to a GI, and i have to take omeprazole EC, and also use HC cream. i dont know specifically how large of a tear it was (if the doc said it i honestly didnt hear it), he said you have a pretty big tear, it would be large enough to cause bleeding even while i slept. i read nac helps with fatty liver, not sure how much so.

I had 11 cm fat deposit in my liver ... 3 hepatologists didn't knew the cause.. I made all the blood work known to man related to liver .. Everything was ok
I wasn't overwheight no drinking no smoke
I exercise my whole life ... After several reading I came to the conclusion that my fatty liver was the result of choline deficiency ...
So I cured my fatty liver doing the following -
Low carb diet-high protein - medium fat
Load up on fish oil 1
-2 tablespoons daily
Supplementet with combo of choline-inositol - methionine
-did 2 three month cycles with Tudca at 1000 mg daily
- trt only
Cardio 2-4 times weekly
Wheight trained like a demon
Every 3 months I was doing an echo and the fat was less and less,,
After a year it was gone!
