Hey guys

I just planned out the next year of training for myself, and have 4 seperate routines planned out over the next 12 months.

While doing this, I started thinking about all the diffierent routines i have utilized in the last 16 years of training.

I have done:

Big Beyond Belief
Power Factor
Ironman Training System (ironman magazine system in the 90's)
Gironda Style - 10,8,6,15, bodyparts hit twice a week
Positions of Flexion
Mike Mentzer 1978 style HIT
Dorian Yates HIT routine
Westside Barbell training
Hernon low volume high frequency
DC 2 way split
X-rep routines
Frank Calta routine
and all kinds of hybrids.

Personally, my best results have come from DC, Hernon Style and the Frank Calta routines. Those are the ones i rotate, because simply put - they still work!

So, sound off guys! What have you tried, and what worked best for you?

How often do you switch styles? 3 months? If it's working why not stick with it?

Im really liking the Emerics negative assistance training.

Currently doing the DC training and it seems to be working well, only been a couple months. Those stretches hurt !!!

After training 16 years, I know my body.

At 3 months, my body tends to adapt to whatever routine Im on.

So i tend to plan things out at 3 months a peice.
