DMK Burger Bar or Portillos if I’m eating out, homemade fresh ground flat iron patties on the grill cooked medium rare at home. Toppings vary depending on my mood, but crispy bacon, truffle aioli, a fried egg and horseradish cheddar is a favorite, so is a taco burger with homemade guacamole, habanero sour cream (el yucateo black label hot sauce mixed with sc), cilantro, scallions and tomato served on a bed of romaine with a side of cilantro rice. I don’t eat my burgers with buns at home, it’s a knife and fork type thing.
