I called in an order one time, and I was running late. Thinking I was going to pick up a soggy burger and they everything all laid out and made the burgers fresh right on the spot. Took like 3 minutes. I was impressed.
I like to make my own. Good sized burger maybe half pound of beef and I make it into two patties then put a chunk of cheese between them and kneed the edges around to keep the melted cheese inside the burger. We used to make these as a special at a restaurant I worked at. Also good to chop up some goods and mix them into the beef... Examples mushroooms in the beef swiss in the center, jalapenos in the beef pepper jack center, bacon in the beef cheddar center....
