Lol l. Why wouldn't I want to be able to post in the sponsor forums? I'm new to these forums and want to be active on here? That's a bad thing? Been around the community long long time kid. If it's a pointless post to you than don't post on it.
For a good burger there is a ma and pop joint around the corner from me that makes a killer burger, swiss cheese, grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Can't really get into the fast food type burgers myself.
We keep cooked hamburgers in the refrigerator at all times. Most reheated burgers taste dry, but we've been including LOTS of coarse-cut onions with 5 oz of 90/10 meat (less than $3/lb @ Sam's Club) and they're delicious fresh and the following day(s).
When traveling (we don't have these around here), I like What-a-burger and In-and-out.
There is a small local chain by me that has the best burger I've ever ate though. 1/2lb Bison burger on a jalapeño sour dough bun. Local veggies. Organic Bison. They make their own buns. Pretty amazing.
DMK Burger Bar or Portillos if I’m eating out, homemade fresh ground flat iron patties on the grill cooked medium rare at home. Toppings vary depending on my mood, but crispy bacon, truffle aioli, a fried egg and horseradish cheddar is a favorite, so is a taco burger with homemade guacamole, habanero sour cream (el yucateo black label hot sauce mixed with sc), cilantro, scallions and tomato served on a bed of romaine with a side of cilantro rice. I don’t eat my burgers with buns at home, it’s a knife and fork type thing.
