Do Fire Departments Test for Roids, Close friend/fire fighter is pondering use, and I said I would ask if you guys knew? Any of you guys fire fighters as well?

Not for a pre-employment or random drug test. I know some that have been tested after they were on the job for awhile, but that was the result of them having other issues.

ronnie was in texas.. also no they do not... but these day and ages, they will depending on situation. but usually no...

I know it varies from town to town but here in my town in MA they only test for a pre-employment screening, and never again unless there is reason to. Even the pre-employment screening test is a marijuana/barbituate/amphetamine/pcp test, juice testing is too expensive.

St. Cloud also got busted for roids when they did a controled delivery of a package that he ordered from over seas.

i am a firefighter and i have never heard of anyone getting tested for aas. now if your growing like a weed and having temper problems at work then the captain or chief can have a test done. so just keep it cool.

Same goes for LE! They test for everything but AAS most of the times.

NO, but as part of a polygraph as a police officer they will and in my interviwe with a fire Department they ask me a ethical question about gear during my panel interview. Its funny. The person who asked me looked as if he may have used in the past.
