That is badass imo.. I may rent the PPV just to watch the fight.
After the BigBadbulldog thread I read thru some forums on mayhem
and stumbled onto the thread. Good for him, he sounds serious about it.

Re: Sneak peek of Flex ready to fight

I want to thank all of you for your support and let me try to answer some of your questions.
It's a full contact fight like K-1 everything is above the waist and for those of you who think it's an exhibition it isn't. It's just called exhibition because it's not a title fight.
I'm fighting Richard Everage and anyone that follows fighting knows this guy is one of the best. He won everything at the Arnold back in 1997, when I won the Arnold and that's why they are teaming us up.
Before bodybuilding I was a world champion in point fighting and it's a lot different than what I'm doing now. In point karate after a fighter wins a point the match is stopped and the fighter is given the point. Now we just fight until someone is knocked out and someone will be knocked out! If you want to see this style of fighting you can go to fiestafest.com.
My trainer is the same trainer I have had since I was 21 and his name is Ty McGwire. And this isn't something I jumped into now that bodybuilding is over. I have been training to fight my whole life even when I was competing in bodybuilding I just didn't fight during that time.
And for those of you who don't think bodybuilding training will benefit a fighter you're wrong. I've been strong for the last 20 years and that's what I've trained for so now I can take this strength and apply it to my fighting. I don't train the same as I did for bodybuilding but the muscle still has memory and my strength is still there and it will show in the ring. Also I have been sparring with lightweights and middleweights to help with speed so when I get in the ring with a heavyweight this will be a big advantage to me.
Any of you who think this is all for show I'd be more than happy to warm up with you in Columbus before my fight just to show you there is no exhibition about it!
God Bless You and Yours,
FLEX
