Floor Press

Same here. One of the best exercises for chest, IMO.

Agreed, Shelby suggested for me to do them and I absolutely love them. I have longer arms so decreasing my range of motion put me in the "sweet spot" and really puts the focus of the lift on my chest.
 
I actually will alternate between regular bench press, decline bench press, and floor presses as my first exercise from week to week. Yes, floor presses make sure your range of motion is limited and stimulating to the chest region!
 
Shelby told me about this lift about a month ago. I love it, no matter how bad I try to cheat, I can't. It takes away the boucne, the shoulders, and the tri's.

when i do floor presses i feel in my anterior delts more than anything else. perhaps i should use a wider grip?, cause i would love to isolate my chest more

That's about as wide as my alligator arms will go.. ;)

I have always found in preperation for the lift that squeezing your shoulder blades together and opening your chest (thus chest above your delts) eliminates much of the shoulder involvment. A wider grip may also help but that takes more of the tricep involvement out as well as even further decreases your ROM.

do you guys hit your collarbone with the barbell when you do incline???? that best angle?

I don't know the exact angle? I tend to touch the nipples, actually I'm always trying to touch the nipples, but that's probably a different thread...
