let me tell you, the people in the "nutrition" field coming out of US universities are the DUMBEST around. they have NO clue, can't be in consensus on anything.

Always look for who sponsored the research to get a clue into what results the study are being guided to.
The article didn't really say this, the way I read it. It was more about low GI foods not making you lose more weight. Comparing diets of "low"/"high" protein (same number of calories) for example would show in body composition for sure IMO.thebrick said:A calorie is a calorie. What the article says previous data supports. GI and Glycemic Load is pretty useless when other factors are controlled (calories, amount of protein, EFAs).
