gh eod and thyroid

hi there, if gh efects thyroid function by slowing it down does taking gh eod cause thyroid to fluctuate to much ? i am hypothyroid and take 150mcg of t4 ed. just wondered if i would be better off doing gh ed rather than eod as i want to keep metabolism/energy etc as stable as possible any input would be great. thanks in advance.

Do you take 150mcg T4 ed b/c thats what a dr. prescribed to you or are you self medicating. My g/f's thyroid was extremely low a few years back and she self medicated with 25mcg T3 daily which worked for about a year but now she is gaining a lot of unwanted weight. I presume this is due to t3's short half life. SHe just started 100mcg T4 ED so maybe that will help?

Have you started the hgh yet? If yes how do you feel? I dont think the fluctuations should be very wild, but you know your body best.

Maybe a 5/2 or an ed schedule would work better for you if you are concerned about fluctuation. Keep the cumulative weekly dose the same, or maybe take an extra 25 mcg on hgh days.

I take 50mcg of T4 ed, but my hgh is on a 5/2 schedule. I would do the same if I took hgh eod.

fullybuilt, i have to take 150mcg for normal thyroid function (from doctor) i think t4 is safer for your girlfriend as your body can decide how much to convert to t3

comradebillyboy thanks for that i have been on hgh for 6 weeks now feel ok most of time but do get tired every so often i have worked up to 6iu eod . i assume i should add 50-100mcg of t4 now,am actually holding off for 10 more days due to comming blood test (thyroid) then see how things look then. ozzie
