GH/insulin timing
Which type of insulin do you recommend - Humalog, R or N?
When is the best time, relative to the insulin injection, to use the GH?
At 6 IU/day is there any benefit to dividing the dosage?
Any other opinions/tips? Thanks.

I used "R" version. Mixed in same syringe with gh. Before breakfast once, and post workout also. The R will take about 15-20min before onset of effects, and works about 4hrs.

George, you asked a question that no one really knows the answer to. I have researched this extensively, through medical journals and other medical books. Some studies have shown that low doses of HGH put as Much IGF-1 in the blood streem as high doses. Insulin is most certainly one of the driving forces for transforming GH to IGF-1, but i think there are other things involved. I am starting my GH cycle march 4, running for 48weeks. I will be taking a 1.5iu shot at 6am, workout, take a 12iu insulin shot at 7:30, and another 1.5iu shot of gh at 8am. Not sure if this helps, but one thing to keep in mind is that your body produces Gh and IGF-1 naturaly, most of this production takes place at night, so to avoid screwing up your natural production you should take your shot or shots in the morning.

Some even say that it completely shuts down your natural GH production anyway so it doesn't matter but, I like to believe it doesn't.

Some days I can't make it through the ball game without choking on a pretzel so I knew I better get some advice on this. It's more confusing than trying to find that Bin Laden fella. But I gotta stay young and strong to fight the tara-ists and rid the world of the evil-doers. Thanks for the suggestions, anyone else?

The half life of gh is so short, that it is gone before the insulin is. this leads me to believe that it won't screw with your natural production if you take your shots in the morning. If it does screw with your production of gh, then keep in mind that people who recieve gh due to gland removal or none function, actually recieve as little as .003 to .01 iu per kg of body weight, for daily supplement. At 6iu's you are way past those levels.

I believe that your own GH production does shut down, just like the test production shuts down on gear. So, it's irrelevant when you take the GH, especially if you do take doses that are effective around 10IU+.
I personally take the entire dose before bed unless I have insulin during the day, so then I divide the GH dose into two to be in synch with the insulin.
I only recomend using R. Log is too quick. You can crash before the the glucose has entered the blood stream. All others are too unpredictable due to the length of their action. R peaks n 1/2 hour (enough for the glucose to be absorbed) and then again 2 hours later. Like clock work every time.

I have to agree that too many new guys want to try humalog and don't understand how quick it kicks in. I personally ONLY use humalog post training cause I have a HUGE shake right w/ me and I tend to like to eat a big huge cheat meal 1hour after training so then I can avoid the insulin spike.
