After hearing that glucophage can lower IGF levels, I wont ever use it again, unless I have a very large cheat meal.
Years ago I used it to get back in ketosis after my carb up day. Every Sunday I had 3 meals with 150g of carbs and took 500mg pill. Worked wonders.
Then I tried it on a carb cycling diet and for some reason it was gassing my stomach to the point of intolerable pain. Never used it since.
Worked wonders? Please explain...
Also, were you taking a 500mg dose with EACH meal or just at the end of the day?
Ever try taking it with no/low carbs?
I was going back into ketosis a lot faster. For example, on Monday my weight would go up 2-3lbs and then would start to drop on Wednesday. With Glucophage I saw weight drop on Tuesday.
