It must be because they sweeten it with fructose, therefore the other remaining weight comes from the 6 grams of carbs it also contains. It's still by far the best deal I've seen at a non-online store for whey isolate. Even at a discount vitamin store the prices for whey isolate are simply outrageous.

I agree that $21 is not bad at all for retail. I'll take that over that 6lb eas blend any day or any concentrate that gnc and vitamin shop push. I usually try to buy all my stuff online in bulk. If I ever get in a bind and run short, I give that one a whirl.

Wow, no thanks. I'll stick with their regular old protein when it goes on sale. Normally I use ON but when GNC has their brand on sale, I'll pick that up instead.

One of these days I'll try one of the bulk protein guys. Just don't have the extra cash right now. And need to make my mind up (both have good reviews....but the one I want is on the other side of the damn country!).
