I am gonna hopefully pick up some grass fed venison next friday with my bow!
Alot cheaper as long as I don't figure in the price of the equipment it took to bag it. That being said thanks for the heads up, last time it was on sale it was $3.99 by me.

I plan on doing the same Sunday. Already have one in the freezer but there is room left.

Regarding the grass fed beef, I switched to that in October, my wife and kids love it and can't get enough of it. It's almost like venison without the joy of spending hours in the woods waiting for the opportunity.

No sale in my local circular.. Last time I took 50lbs.. :headbang:

When i asked about another sale coming up.. The butcher said it was a fiasco last time.. Cause three people pretty much wiped them out and they ran out at 11AM.. I said "I can amagine" as I walked away silently..

Picked up 5lbs of grass fed ground beef from a local guy for 3.25 a pound. Cant say I'm thrilled with the taste of it but at that price it may be worth it for the other benefits.
