I just started having to cook for myself like all the time, Im a pretty good cook but I just don't know what all i can cook. I dont really need recipe ideas although a couple good ones would be tight. I'm looking at the other recipe threads. What I would really like to know is what i should be buying to eat from the store. If someone could post up their grocery list for like a week or so. Im trying to get my body fat % down, and I got like a 150$ budget for weekly food for myself(which i generally dont use all of). I eat 3 times a day generally get my sweets fix off some reeses puffs or every few days if i gotta. Anyone got something they use that they dont mind lettin me in on? preciate it.
 
well goal is drop b/f ?

i am bulking now so my list might be different . eggs milk cheese chicken and beef steak and whole bread ,oats and peanut butter.

thats really good advice. especially on the eggs. i dont think that many people realize that 2 egg yolks contains 100% of your cholesterol intake for the day. the only other thing i would say is drink about a half gallon of water per day too. it plays a huge role on your digestion process.
 
think something like this would be an alright daily diet?

Morning cardio
7:00 a.m. 2 bowl Wheaties
9:00 A.M. 3 Eggs
12:00 P.M. 2 cans tuna, Cottage cheese
1:00 P.M. Protein Shake, Peanut butter Sand(wheat)
Weightlifting/Swimming/Tanning
5:00 post workout protein/cellmass
7:00 dinner...
9:00 Oatmeal/fruit
Try to hop in bed around midnight

If a diet similar to that daily would work, then I got a list I think I'll use.

YOU GOT THE IDEA. I WOULD TRY THIS THOUGH.
7:00 A.M- 1 MED. WHOLE WHEAT BAGEL, SUGAR FREE JELLY, 1 SCOOP PROTEIN.

9:00 A.M.- 6 EGG WHITES, 1 CUP YOGURT

12:00 P.M - 2 CANS TUNA, 6 RICE CAKES.

1:00 P.M- PRE- WORKOUT- 1 CUP OATMEAL, 1 CHICKEN BREAST

POST WORKOUT- ( ARE YOR WORKOUTS 4 HOURS LONG, OR DO YOU WAIT TO EAT?) IMMEDIATELY AFTER WORKOUT- 2 SCOOPS PROTEIN, 1 SCOOP CELLMASS.

DINNER- ( WITHIN AN HOUR OF POST WORKOUT) 10 OZ. LEAN RED MEAT, 1 CUP GREEN BEANS, 1 SWEET POTATO.

BEDTIME- INA BLENDER, PUT 4 ICE CUBES, 1 SCOOP PROTEIN, 1 TBLSPOON NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER AND A LITTLE WATER. A LITTLE TREAT BEFORE BED.

Looks like a tasty day...heh. I appreciate that man, Ill try it out for a while and see how it goes. Yes, sadly it takes me about 4 hours to work out. College Gym is packed so it takes about 2 hours of weightlifting, then about 30 - 45 minutes of swimming (plus 5minute drive) and then I chill and lay out with all the honeys that go to my college on the sun deck at the Natatorium, that kinda has a random time about it, depends on who else is tanning.
 
just be sire to get that protein and cellmass down as soon as you are done working out.
 
i am of no help cuz i just came from the store:

1 btl of laundry detergent "cheer" color guard for black laundry, i always wear black :cool:

1 box of 60W light bulbs. the lights in my shitter burned out a week ago. only now did i get around to changing it. lol

1 btl Fiji water. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

1 scratch off lotto ticket. unfortunately i still have to go to work tomorrow :( no $100,000/yr for life for me.

but i did get hit by a 2004(?) Dodge Dakota as i walked out. i just bounced off, shot the female drive a dirty look, and shook my head. i dunno how she missed me in the crosswalk :confused:

people are dumb :)
