Some thoughts I wrote on hamstring training... probably kind of basic for many of us here, but maybe you'll get something out of it:

good info. A weak point for me for sure, but I've made good strides training consistantly and hard for the last year and a half. The leg presses are a good one, done every other workout or so. I also find that stiff legged deads, done being sure to concentrate on squeezing the hams and glutes when raising, really make me sore...

good read Shelby

I know its lame but I feel the laying down hamstring curl machine works great.

I do those in one of my other hamstring workouts.

Some lying leg curl machines are definitely better than others though...

RDL's are great for hamstring development, while keeping the lower back safe. Rippetoe has a nice section on them in the 2nd edition of Starting Strength.

Im still struggling to walk after the huge set of squats and glute ham raises from two days ago!!! Glute hams are the bees knees!!!

Who knows.. All i know is that deads are gonna kill me today!! Cuz im sore...
