Has anyone ever done this exercise for their upper back?

If you look at the one I posted it looks like he has white shorts on.

its a pretty good exercise for the rear delts, not really any good for back.

I didn't know that was called a Dumbbell Rear Delt Row, as i have done them like that on bench rows for back when me lower back has been tender and they work the lats pretty well.
Your hands are in the same position as a barbell palms down BTW.

Yes, this is a good upper back/rear delt movement , when done with elbows out as shown. There is a video on you tube with Phil Hernion doing this same movement. except doing both arms at the same time and not leaning on a bench. Try em. I'll bet you will feel a good isolation.

It is only called a rear delt row due to the fact that your hands are pronated while executing the movement. I do the double version of this and I can say it is a killer. The double d/bell row can be hard on lower back if you are weak there. It is a good finisher for the back and rear delts.
